My younger sister loved the arts, and loved all things romance. When she passed away several years ago, with dreams of becoming a professional actress unrealized, I went to my surviving siblings with a proposal: should I ever turn my pen to writing romance, what did they think about me using our sister’s chosen stage name – Michele Dean – as my romance author pseudonym. We all agreed that she would be delighted!
